About the Owners/ Directors
Carl E. Douglas II- Born in Quincy, IL raised in San Jose California. Relocated back to the Midwest in 1992. Graduated from Mt. Marty College in South Dakota with an business degree. Loves to coach all sports and encourage children to be their best.
Katie Douglas- Born and raised in Mason City, IA. Graduated Kaplan University with her nursing degree in 2009, and worked as a long term nurse until the end of 2011. Coached various sports and was a Girl Scout leader in 2016.
In 2012, Katie and Carl were blessed with their 3rd child and started their career as in-home child care providers. Their dreams became reality when they suddenly became a very successful in-home daycare known as “Katie’s Daycare.” After their in home demand became so large they opened the center- Little Angel’s Child Care and Preschool on October 31st 2016! Katie and Carl are both owners and directors. They enjoy traveling with their 5 children and visiting family in Illinois.
